What is it about SIRE?It’s the healing power of a horse; the awesome people who come to experience that power; the gifted instructors who channel that power; the caring volunteers who give so generously of their time and talents; the efficient staff who hold everything together; the dedicated board of directors who keep it all moving forward; an inspiring executive director who keeps everything on track; and the generous donors who lighten the financial load. A simple recipe for success, but one not found all that often. We are truly thankful to have this wonderful combination of talented horses and people working together in synchronicity to improve the lives of those with disabilities. The SIRE centers are truly profound places of healing. Working at something you love, with good people, while making a difference in people’s lives—what could be more rewarding! |
