On Saturday May 10th, more than 600 Texas gentlemen and stunning ladies will crowd the Downtown Hyatt Regency to kick-up their heels for SIRE at the 2008 Silver Star Shindig. This annual fund-raising gala celebrates SIRE’s 25th Anniversary of equine-assisted therapy for children and adults with disabilities. Honorees are: Baker Concrete Construction for their generous donations of talent and resources to construction projects in the development of the arena at our Spring facility; Paige Kinkade of Medcare Pediatric Group in Fort Bend County for their recognition of the profound medical improvements therapeutic riding brings to people with special abilities in the Greater Houston Area; and Peggy Wagner for her outstanding leadership and selfless devotion in giving more than 24 years of volunteer service to SIRE.
