Ways to Volunteer
Lesson Volunteers
Side Walker
Walk alongside a rider during their lesson, offering encouragement and support as needed. Side walkers help riders build confidence and safely participate in activities while working closely with instructors and the therapy horse. No prior horse experience is necessary, we'll provide all the training you need!
Horse Leader
Lead one of our therapy horses during lessons, helping create a safe and positive experience for both horse and rider. Horse leaders work alongside instructors and volunteers to guide the horse through lesson activities and may also assist with grooming and tacking before and after lessons. Horse experience is required.
Facility & Group Projects
Corporate & Community Service Projects
Bring your team together for a meaningful day of service! Groups can assist with landscaping, painting, barn and property improvements, organizing equipment, building projects, and other seasonal initiatives that directly support SIRE's mission.
