Our Story
Since our start in 1983, we’ve been on a journey of transformation, thanks to the unwavering support of our community. From humble beginnings in Hockley, Texas to our current locations in Spring and Fulshear, we’ve expanded our reach to serve individuals facing various challenges. With over 10,000 instructional hours annually, we’re proud to be recognized by PATH International and to offer subsidized programs that make equine-assisted programs accessible to all working through emotional challenges or exploring alternatives to traditional therapies.
Our riders, spanning from children to seniors, find joy, strength, and connection in our programs, with 100% reporting personal growth in key areas. Whether you’re navigating autism, seeking support for families, assistance with PTSD, or exploring alternatives to traditional therapies, SIRE is here to walk, trot, and canter alongside you. What We Do
SIRE provides equine-assisted services that empower children, adults, veterans, and individuals with disabilities and challenges to build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills through the unique partnership between horse and rider.
We serve individuals with a wide range of physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs, including (but not limited to) cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, developmental delays, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and many other diagnoses.
Every rider's journey is unique. Through mounted and unmounted equine-assisted services, participants work toward personalized goals while experiencing improvements in balance, strength, communication, emotional well-being, confidence, and social connection.
